Unknown enemy
UNKNOWN ENEMY-2 Sam 11: 2 - 7
Uriah ="Jehovah ( Yahweh ) is my light ( flame )". The bible in the book of Samuel tells us about Uriah who was one of the mighty men of David. He was with David in caves, hills mountains and wilderness of his life. He fought battles as a faithful servant of David. As an honorable and faithful servant, he was with David through thick and thin; fighting battles until he was crowned as a king. There came a time when king David stayed behind in the palace and his men went to war. You can read the rest of the story in 2 Sam 11 : 2 - 21.
This story can be related to our lifestyles. Uriah was not killed by an enemy but his master, king David; who he devoted his lifetime to serve. Do you also fall in this category laboring for people expecting rewards but they turned against you? Instead of rewards /appreciation, you are framed up; and that might even lead to your death. In some cases, you have worked for a man, after putting in so much expecting settlement, he comes up with claims leaving you with nothing but shame and disgrace.
You have also invested in people that after making it in life never remember you: instead of leaving you, they are busy castigating you. It is time to seek God who will deliver you from this kind of situation. Come unto Him all who labor and are heavy laden, He will give you rest.
