Undeparting sword - 2 Sam 12: 10 "Now therefore the sword shall never depart from thine house; because thou hast despised me, and hast taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be thy wife". "One sin leading to another". A story was told about how King David conspired to kill Uriah and the LORD sent prophet Nathan to tell him the consequences of his act. King David got into that act because of lust but never thought of the consequences thereafter. The bible tells us that the daughter was raped by his son and another son ended up killing that son bringing to fulfillment the word of God through the prophet saying, " the sword shall not depart from his house". Do you find yourself in any situation that everything is working against you? Are you a son of a cursed man / woman? Is there any act of wickedness that has been carried out in your lineage that is working against you? For example, inability to get married regardless of your education, beauty and financial level etc? Are you unable to conceive even when you managed to get married despite being certified fit by many doctors ? Your inability to get jobs; even, the one you managed to get, the people trained by you are ahead. You have every quality to get to the top but it is impossible; for these are fruits / seeds that proceed from our lineage working against us from this adulterous generation. There is one solution to this issue. Acknowledge who you are to be able to discover the cause. Jesus is the answer. The sacrifice on the cross settles you and your household. ACTION POINTS 1 ) LORD have mercy on me. 2 ) LORD have mercy on my lineage. 3 ) I acknowledge that when my fathers committed these atrocities, I was in their loins, have mercy on us. 4 ) I acknowledge that I am a seed of a cursed man standing on the basis of your mercy that I am not in support of their wickedness and calamity. 5 ) LORD deliver me from the sins of my ancestors! 6 ) LORD deliver me from the pollutions of my father's house! 7 ) LORD I acknowledge that whatever a man has is what the children inherit, and I know that I have inherited calamity and failure. 8 ) LORD cause me to inherit your grace and mercy from now henceforth. 9 ) From now henceforth, let the power that follows me like a wind cease operation in Jesus' name.
