FOCUS

                                                         FOCUS
"Now Naaman, captain of the host of the king of Syria,  was a great man with his master, and honorable, because by him the LORD had given deliverance unto Syria; he was also a mighty man in valour but he was a leper" -2 kings 5:1
Naaman's issue in this scripture was indeed a sympathetic one. He found favour and mercy in the sight of the Lord. People loved him because of the grace upon his life, for through this,  he fought battles; came out victorious and everybody in the land of Syria was interested in what they would get from God through him. But no one cared about the well-being of the person used by God to bring victory to the people. All they cared about was what they'll get through him.
Namaan was a victim of this circumstance; he had leprosy but the grace upon his life overshadowed it. Some of us have found ourselves in this kind of situation where no one cares about our well-being. All they are after is just about what they'll get out of us, that is why the Lord told Hezekiah to put his house in order. Do not be carried away by the circumstances around you but be focused because you'll be accountable for how you live your life.
NOTE: The life you live is designed to give God glory, comfort and joy to the people around you and you joy. If you neglect any of these, it will affect the entire system but remember that the essence of this story is that no one cares for you, but Jesus. Do everything to balance your lifestyle with God and man, for the Lord takes pleasure in the prosperity of His people including health and well-being.
                                                ACTION POINTS:
1 ) LORD, I acknowledge that you are all in all.
2 ) LORD Jesus please give me grace to walk in the right direction.
3 ) LORD JESUS, please let me not be carried away by the things around me.
4 ) LORD help me to fulfill my purpose of existence.
5 )LORD let everything around drive me to fulfillment in Jesus' name.
