WHAT BRINGS YOU TO JESUS??
The issue of the woman brought to Jesus was a typical example; sometimes when you are praying there are things that will discourage you in the place of prayer and fasting. These are the forces planted around you to discourage and hinder you from entering your rest. The woman that was caught in adultery was divinely brought before Jesus. Many have interpreted this scripture from the view that the Jews brought her to find fault and condemn Jesus because they did not understand his doctrine. But I see this scripture from the point of divine intervention.The Jewish law permits such person to be stoned to death, yet divine intervention brought her to Jesus and she was saved by the word. As long as you are alive, you still have choices to recognize your creator and turn away from your evil ways.Jesus is calling you today. Just like the way the woman was divinely taken to Jesus, many have encountered Jesus in many ways and yet we don't know that God is calling us.
The woman's sin was an occasion that brought her near Jesus. What is that thing in your life that has refused any solution? For example; the trouble in your marriage, like child bearing/death of children might be an occasion to meet with Jesus. Inability to achieve your dreams could be an occasion to meet with Jesus. The illness in you is seeking an occasion to bring you nearer to Jesus . This situation is capable of killing you but you have a choice to embrace Jesus because He is with you. He has the solutions and answers to all your needs.Wealth is like a bird that can fade away with a stone which represents trouble, but the gift of God makes riches and adds no sorrow.
ACTION POINTS;
1) Thank you Jesus for making me see this day.
2) Thank you LORD for your word that cannot change.
3) LORD,let your word that I have heard strengthen and bring me to the place of decision.
4) LORD,let my decision be led by the Holy Spirit that will save my generation from sin and boundage.
5) LORD,open my eyes to see things the way you see them.
6) LORD, open my ears to listen to your word and let it strengthen me, in Jesus name.
