INABILITY TO ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY

INABILITY TO ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITIES

Genesis chapter 3 verse 12 says,
"And the man said,' The woman whom thou gavest to be with me,  she gave me of the tree,  and I did eat. "
The LORD gave Adam authority to rule and take care of the garden of Eden.  Adam named everything the LORD brought to him because he was in charge.  A day came that he decided to obey his wife's instructions; knowing fully well that the LORD instructed him to eat from every other tree in the garden except from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil -Gen 2:15-16. He was there when the serpent tempted Eve in Gen 3 and convinced her to eat of the tree which she did eat in Gen 3:6.
Eve convinced Adam to also eat and he did. The LORD came and asked Adam where he was. Instead of Adam accepting responsibilities, he blamed Eve (Gen 3:13 ) for his inability,  knowing fully well that God has given him authority over everything that was in the garden and this has been one of our major problems today.
In the family, when a father makes a mistake, he blames his inability on someone because he does not want to accept responsibility; likewise,  every other person in the family. This inability to accept responsibility/mistake  caused Adam to leave the garden of Eden where he was the manager and driven to a place where he has to till the ground to feed his family and this thing has followed us into our businesses and sources of livelihood leaving us with nothing but pain and agony.  Are you also in this category that has not been able to conquer this kind of situation that is gradually becoming a foundational problem to the entire human race?
Today,  marriages are dissolved because he that is wrong does not want to accept responsibility. Likewise, businesses are collapsing and people are losing their jobs because of inability to accept responsibility/wrong. Instead of simply apologizing and taking responsibility for their short-come and inability,  they shift blames on someone else losing what they ought to keep. But God proves a point that is very clear in the bible saying on every situation give thanks to God for this is the will of God concerning you. God accepts responsibility.  Jesus demonstrated this when the disciples questioned him in John 9: 2 And his disciples asked him, saying,  Master,  who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? If you follow the contents of this scripture carefully,  you will find out that they have called the parents names.  They believed that this kind of problem is generational.
They have no facts to support their belief.
But Jesus proved them wrong by saying neither the child nor parents sinned, but the situation came to glorify the name of the LORD. Both the child  and parents were exempted,  discharged and aquinted by Jesus' statement but God was glorified.  If you,  as a person is presenting an issue before God,  you must  learn how to accept responsibility even in the place of prayer:for God is not interested in excuses. People have often told me that if they did not come out from their family,  they would not have been going through what they are facing in life. Some blame their family/parent for their predicaments. These are excuses that have no solutions
The man that Jesus met at the pool of Bethesaida, was asked a simple question, "Do you want to be made whole?", The answer would have been either yes or no.  Instead he complained that there was no one to push him in when the angel stirred the water. That was neither what was asked of him nor the answer expected from him. Jesus said carry your mat and go.  The bible says that the man was made whole.  In the place of prayer and supplication,  we must be concise;for God has no time to waste.  Even in the confession of sin,  we blame people for falling into it. Accept responsibility,  confess your sins before God and move on.

ACTION POINTS:

( 1 ) LORD give me the grace to do things right.
( 2 ) LORD teach me to accept responsibilties.
( 3 ) LORD, when I am wrong, give me the spirit of acceptance of my wrong.
( 4 ) LORD, kill pride in me in a place of truth.
( 5 ) LORD, give me the grace to be truthful to myself because I know I cannot deceive myself.
( 6 ) LORD, plant your spirit in me that will always caution me when I go astray in Jesus' name.
