How persistent are you in your prayer 3?

How persistent are you in your prayer 3 ?
A story was told in 1 kings 17 about Elijah who proclaimed in the land neither dew nor rain.He locked up heaven, which is the source of dew and rain by his word. Within that period there was neither dew nor rain because a man had shut the heaven in the place of prayer. Many of us today want to see a man of God that will say a word coming to pass. But Elijah was not in show business. He was  in business with God that answers prayers . After that period, Elijah prayed again and there was rain.
Please note; when Elijah was praying to bring forth rain , he remained in the place of prayer till he got an answer. Please also note that; prayer is not set to suite you in your place of weaknesses /excuses but if you follow the principle carefully you will get results. Men draw strength and power in the place of prayer. If you need these; go to the place of prayer. Be honest to yourself; God answers prayers. He is close and ready to hear you in every situation. In everything you do, lay a strong foundation of prayer before you continue.  If this is done, it will be like a house built on the rock, when rain and storm come, it will not be destroyed. Our plans are being wiped or swept away by circumstances because we build on sand; when wind and storm come they are carried away. We either blame one thing or the other for our failure. We never realize that what is built has no strong foundation.
      ACTION POINTS
1 ) LORD I look up to you for direction, direct my path.
2 )  Oh LORD I have not passed this road before: your spirit knows all things, let your spirit lead my path.
3 ) LORD plant your spirit in me for instructions and direction that I will not work like others.
4 ) LORD, let my focus in physical things be aligned to the fulfillment of my ministry on earth.
5 ) LORD, lead the way that I might follow you in Jesus' name.
