The coming back of the king

THE COMING BACK OF THE KING -2 Sam 19:10b And Absalom whom we anointed over us is dead in battle. Now therefore why speak ye not a word of bringing the king back. The passage tells us about how nobody cared about the coming back of the king. We were told about how the battle took king David out of the palace and land into the wilderness. The battle that took him out ended long time ago, everyone in that land was doing his or her own thing; giving out children in marriages, building houses, expanding one business or the other and no one cared or talked about the hastening or the coming back of the king. When likening this story to our situation today; everyone is busy doing his/her own thing and no one cares about the return of the king. If you discuss this with anyone, they will tell you they wished they could finish training their children before the rapture. The singles will tell you, they wished they marry before the coming of the son of man. Everyone has one reason or the other why christ should tarry because they are busy in their own way. The coming of the king cannot be stopped. Let's focus on heavenly things or things pertaining to God's kingdom. For your works shall be tried by fire; if it won't be sustained you'll suffer losses. Put your treasures in heavenly places where moth or rust can't destroy it. Jesus Christ is coming soon. ACTION POINTS; 1) LORD give me focus to the things pertaining your kingdom. 2) LORD take away every distraction that is taking away my focus from your kingdom work . 3) LORD let the spirit of remembrance of your kingdom continually boil in me day and night. 4) LORD give me the grace not to loose focus. 5) Oh LORD! Let your kingdom come and your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. 6) LORD let us the Christians live life today in preparation of your coming tomorrow in Jesus' name.
